- Apple has posted Mac OS X Server 10.3 Admin Tools, which contains administration software and tools that you can install on a computer other than your server. The tools, which require Mac OS X 10.3 installs: Server Admin, Workgroup Manager, Server Monitor, Network Image Utility, Server Assistant, and QuickTime Broadcaster. [83MB]
- Synk 4.2 is an update to the free native Cocoa file synchronization application that offers an informative preview window gives you full control over what will happen as well as intelligent synchronization. - Mireth Technology has launched version 1.2 of MacMP3CD, its Mac OS X software that allows you to burn and to play MP3 and WMA CDs. This release adds support for unencrypted WMA burning and playback. - Kepmad Systems released ImageBuddy v2.9.0, its $18 photo printing program for Mac OS X, adding support for transparent image backgrounds on contact sheets and improved water mark placement. - Greppie 1.0b3 is a "wrapper application" for the UNIX command "grep" that can search any file on your hard disk for any text, or even search for those items that do not have the text you're searching for. The $14 shareware uses "regular expressions" to help users located text. [1.0MB]
