Apple offers AppleCare program for iPod

AppleCare for iPod


Apple today announced an expansion of its program to include an extended warranty option for iPods. Customers who pay $60 can now get an additional year of warranty, a total of two years of coverage from the purchase date. Apple has continually improved its iPod warranty, which was only 90 days when the digital music player first debuted.
