Apple can't be doing too bad if their updates are noted on Microsoft Watch

    Column view Info for CJK

Let's hope that the reference to "international text" is an indication that they are fixing Preview in column view, in which Info is now displayed in illegible garbled (mojibake) text for Japanese, Chinese, and Hebrew files (file name and content) when using the English (US) script as the system startup language. It was a major oversight by Apple, not to mention the fact that "File Name Encoding Repair" available from Apple's Web site is broken and will not fully install but still has minimal operation. Hanin input for Traditional Chinese still only converts one character at a time rather than a whole word as in Simplified Chinese or a whole phrase or even sentence as in Japanese Kotoeri.

    I really hope...

Dear God, please let the "networking fix" be a replacement/fix for the horrible, abysmal network browsing. This is one area that is actually WORSE than 10.2.

    SCSI Scanners

It would be great if they fixed SCSI Scanner support too - our expen$ive Minolta Dimage Scan Multi is seen by System Profiler, but can't be reached by the Minolta software, and doesn't work correctly with VueScan (today's .66 version) either.

It worked perfectly under Mac OS X 10.2.8.

    Network Browsing

Agreed. Network Browsing needs to be fixed! 15 minutes after I access my wife's 17" iMac my Power Mac goes into "spinning wheel of death" when I used the "Browse" function because her mac sleeps. I can't figre out how to eject a browsed volume!

    fix FontBook!

FontBook is still unable to handle many postscript fonts, in particular symbol fonts which can hose your system and leave you with inoperable safari, address book, etc. etc.

Fix it; or pull it from the system altogether.

    whine whine whine

I don't know how many people here told you to wait with the Panther update until 10.3.2 or 10.3.3 is released. Did you listen? No. So, STFU if you don't want to take good advise from people that obviously have more computer experience than you whiny little b******.

P.S.: Re: font: Check with the font distributor for that matter. Faulty font files are not Apple's problem.
