iPod a hit in Taiwan


Apple's iPod digital music player is one of the , according to Apple Country Manager Jack Tong, who said at the launch of Apple's iPod Music Bus in Taipe the sleek digital music player had been flying off the shelves this past quarter. "Worldwide, over 1 million iPods have been sold," Tong said. "Our sales performance in the past quarter was particularly impressive. Globally, we grew 140 percent in the third quarter compared with the same period last year."
