ALAP updates XPert Tools Pro, Align, Layers, Scale

ALAP updates XPert apps

A Lowly Apprentice Production (ALAP) today released , a major upgrade to its set of intuitive palette-driven XTensions for QuarkXPress that adds support for QuarkXPress 6.0 and Mac OS X."Our customers have been begging us for an OS X XPert Tools solution and today they have just that" said Paul Schmitt President of ALAP.

Additionally XPert Tools Pro 2.1 will take advantage of QuarkXPress 6.0's new multiple "undo/redo" feature (when applicable). XPert Tools continues to be compatible with both QuarkXPress 4 and 5 for Mac and Windows.



XPert Tools Pro includes XTensions for typography, scaling, layering, aligning, navigation, and printing, creative professionals of any level can take advantage of XPert Tools Pro 2.1.



XPert Tools Pro is priced at $180. Upgrades from earlier versions of XPert Tools Pro are $40.



ALAP also announced today the release of three major upgrades XPert Align, XPert Layers, and XPert Scale. The new versions (2.1) add support for QuarkXPress 6.0 Mac OS X and Windows XP while maintaining compatibility with the older QuarkXPress versions 4 and 5. Additionally all three products take advantage of QuarkXPress 6.0's new multiple undo/redo feature.



XPert Align 2.1 provides an intuitive, visual method for aligning items with
other items or the page. XPert Layers 2.1 helps users juggle layered items that comprise many design elements by offering an easy method for locating, selecting, and modifying
layered items on pages. XPert Scale 2.1 lets you quickly scale QuarkXPress documents, items, groups, and contents similar to the way drawing programs scale objects.



XPert Align, XPert Layers and XPert Scale are all priced at $100 each. Upgrades from versions 2.0 to 2.1 are priced at $30 each.
