The MathWorks has launched its new for MATLAB, wich facilitates the analysis of complex bioinformatics data, from genomic sequences to microarray data analysis, and speeds up the development and deployment of algorithms. The toolbox is designed to visualize large amounts of research data, offering access to standard genomic file formats, and Web-based databases (GenBank, PIR, etc.); specialized routines for visualizing microarray data protein feature analysis; genomic, proteomic sequence statistics, conversion and alignment; and dotplot, clustergram data visualizations. Pricing starts at $1000.
