EvoCam 4.2.2 ($30) - EvoCam is a webcam utility that allows users to publish a webcam with streaming video. Version 4.2.2 adds support for ACTi, Arecont and Wansview cameras. It also adds several new features, including visual mouse click feedback when capturing video from displays, and fixes several issues affecting performance and stability. [Download - 1.6MB]

Dropbox 2.4 (free) - Dropbox is a desktop utility that creates a special Finder folder that automatically syncs with an online web storage account. This can be used to backup files to the cloud, or to quickly synchronize files between multiple computers. The v2.4 update includes a new setting that will automatically upload screenshots to a Dropbox account when activated. Support has also been added for OS X Mavericks, and the speeds for both uploads and downloads of large files should be improved. [Download - 32.1MB]

Bookends 12.0.5 ($50) - Bookends is a tool that can help users organize reference information and create bibliographies. The latest release offers an updated user interface along with the ability to import attachments from the watch folder even when the app is in the background. Various bugs have also been addressed and empty lines created by doing a Find/Replace in the Authors, Editors, and Keywords fields will be automatically removed. [Download - 37.5MB]

PreMinder 1.8.2 ($19) - PreMinder is a calendar program that lets users store styled text for reminders and events. It features highly customizable monthly, two monthly, weekly and yearly views, as well as support for syncing with iCal, iCloud, and Google Calendar. A bug where setting an event with a start time in Quick Event or Follow-on Event would create the event one hour later than specified has been fixed in this release. [Download - 6.4MB]

MacFamilyTree 7.0.12 ($50) - MacFamilyTree is a genealogy program that can help users discover and visualize their family history. The software also features a number of built in reports and charts, and allows users share genealogical data using the GEDCOM standard. A FamilySearch issue regarding gender information has been fixed with this update, along with a crash that could occur when using the feature. In addition, sorting in the person merger sheet now works correctly. [Download - 223.7MB]
