CrossOver, Acorn, SpamSieve

CrossOver 12.2 ($60) - CrossOver can be used to run many popular Windows programs on a Mac. Windows software can be installed using the CrossTie feature, and will then run without the need to open any additional virtual machine software. As with previous releases, the v12.2 update improves the stability of Quicken. Improvements have also been made to some games running in full-screen mode, along with various bug fixes. In addition, the Mac Driver has been updated with drag and drop, and gamma support. [Download - 79.8MB]

Acorn 4.0.2 ($30) - Acorn is an image editing utility that offers layer support, built-in effects, vector shapes and text, and more. Version 4.0.2 fixes several bugs, including one that prevented Merlin from working correctly after adding a new filter. An issue where the RAW import window wouldn't update an image after entering values into the input fields has also been fixed. [Download - 17.1MB]

SpamSieve 2.9.7 ($30) - SpamSieve is an e-mail filtering utility that reduce the amount of junk mail that makes it through to a user's inbox. The latest release offers improved compatibility with pre-release versions of OS X, as well as better filtering accuracy. A work around for a bug in Apple Mail's iCloud rule syncing has also been added, along with a host of bug fixes. [Download - 10.8MB]

Transmit 4.3.4 ($34) - Transmit is an FTP client that can handle files transfer and sync operations via several protocols, including FTP, WebDAV, and Amazon S3. An issue with Transmit's UI not responding when attempting to perform a folder sync on Mac OS X 10.6 has been resolved in this release. Issues with connecting to FTP via TLS/SSL, downloading server favicons for favorites, and performing auto-updates have also been resolved. [Download - 29.4MB]

MacCleanse 3.3.3 ($20) - MacCleanse is a tool that can scan a computer for internet activity and clear any unwanted information. In addition to basic web cleaning, MacCleanse also allows users to clear data from a number of applications such as Adium, iChat, Skype, Transmission, Xtorrent, and more. A potential crash that could occur when updating the status log for slimming/removing files has been patched in this update. [Download - 13.6MB]
