Default Folder X 4.5.8 ($35) - Default Folder X provides users with quick access to folders and commands by attaching a toolbar to the right side of Open and Save dialogs in OS X. Version 4.5.8 enables Default Folder X in Java apps running under Mountain Lion, and fixes a problem that caused file dialogs to hang in Preview, TextEdit, and Mail. Additionally. the QuickLook item in the utility and contextual menus has been localized. [Download - 11.4MB]

AirRadar 2.2.9 ($20) - AirRadar can be used to scan for available wireless networks. The software provides graphs of network signal strength and will automatically join the best open network in range. The v2.2.9 update fixes a bug that prevented the software from saving the Keychain password. [Download - 9.8MB]

Evernote 5.0.7 (free) - Evernote is a documentation tool that allows users to create notes that contain both audio and text. Web and application content can also be clipped directly into Evernote, and all notes are automatically synced across all of a user's devices. A redesigned menubar helper that allows users to quickly create a new note is included in this release, along with various bug and localization fixes. Boom 1.7 ($7) - Boom is a small tool for boosting the audio output of an entire system. The software includes a built-in equalizer with various presets, as well as the ability to create custom EQ settings. Six brand new presets, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Acoustic, Classical and Electronic, are included in this release, as well as several minor bug fixes. [Download - 9.8MB]

Voila 3.4 ($30) - Voila is a screen capture utility that includes more advanced options than offered by default in Mac OS X. With this utility users can designate the area they wish to capture using circular, polygon, or freehand tools. In v3.4 a pause option is now displayed while recording the screen, and screenshots can be taken by using keyboard shortcuts. Postbox mailing client integration is also included, as well as a fix for an error that occurred when saving video to a USB device. [Download - 24.8MB]
