Tweetbot for Mac 1.2 ($20) - Tweetbot for Mac is a desktop Twitter client that offers support for multiple timelines, multiple windows and columns, Mountain Lion's Notification Center, and Retina displays. Version 1.2 includes new options for the menubar icon and dock badge, as well as the ability to disable/enable notifications related to specific users. Additional changes include thumbnail support for Vine and Flickr, support for adding MP4 video to tweets, and the ability to reorder accounts in the preferences. [Download - 4.8MB]

Alfred 1.3.3 (free) - Alfred is a quick launch utility that can help users search their computer and the internet. The v1.3.3 release addresses several issues that were introduced following the iTunes 11.0.2 update. The iTunes update made a few chances to AppleScript support, which in turn caused problems with Alfred's Mini Player. [Download - 2.2MB]

Firetask 3.0.5 ($40) - Firetask helps users organize and prioritize all of their daily tasks. Version 3.0.5 adds support for deleting task list rows with both the delete and backspace keys, along with a new Repository tab in the Preferences dialog. A syncing problem related to checklists has also been fixed, and the general error handling for background syncing has been further improved. [Download - 8.7MB]

Screenflick 2.2.8 ($29) - Screenflick is a tool for capturing desktop recordings at up to 60 fps. The software is capable of recording any portion of the screen, as well as simultaneously recording audio from internal or external microphones and the system audio. Audio is now recorded at a much higher quality in v2.2.8, and a potential hang that could occur during audio recording has been fixed. Additionally, an problem that could lead to crashes and premature cancellation of exported videos when a movie stopped recording has also been resolved. [Download - 3.9MB]

Smultron 5.2.1 ($5) - Smultron is a text editor that is designed to be simple to use, yet provide enough features to satisfy advanced users. In addition to basic text support, the software also includes syntax colors for more than 90 code languages, support for text snippets, and iCloud integration. A crash that could occur when using the advanced find feature has been fixed with the v5.2.1 update. [Download - 4.6MB]
