Fantastical 1.3.5 ($20) - Fanastical is a calendar utility that sits in a users menu bar and can be accessed through a customizable keyboard shortcut. To add new events users can type a natural phrase and the software will automatically pull out relevant time and date information. A crash that occurred when using Outlook has been fixed with this update, and the handling of quoted text when entering sentences has been improved. DashExpander 1.7.3 ($5) - DashExpander is a snippet abbreviation expander that can cut down on typing time. The software can hold any number of text snippets and allows users to sync their library across multiple computers via Dropbox. Version 1.7.3 fixes a bug that caused the default placeholder values to be incorrectly replaced when custom delimiters are used. Overall memory usage has also been reduced. [Download - 10.6MB]

Instantbird 1.3 (free) - Instantbird is a multi-protocol message client hat use the Mozilla rendering engine to display IMs. The v1.3 update includes numerous accessibility improvements, as well as better support for IRC and Twitter. BusyCal 2.0.1 ($30) - BusyCal is a desktop calendar app that allows users to share calendars among family, friends, and workgroups. The latest release reintroduces the BusyCal Alarm Window, which can be used as an alternative to displaying alarms in Notification Center. Geekbench 2.4 ($13) - Geekbench provides a comprehensive set of benchmarks designed to measure processor and memory performance of Mac systems. Support for the Mac Mini, iPad mini, and latest generation iPad and iPod touch models has been added in this release, as well as for both the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10.
