Boom 1.5 ($7) - Boom is a small tool for boosting the audio output of an entire system. The software includes a built-in equalizer with various presets, as well as the ability to create custom EQ settings. The latest release is fully compatible with OS X Mountain Lion and resolves an issue with disappearing sound. [Download - 8MB]

My Living Desktop 5.1.2 ($30) - My Living Desktop provides users with a variety of high definition videos that can be used both as moving wallpapers and screen savers. A display bug specific to Mac OS X Snow Leopard has been resolved with this update, as well as a problem with installing screen savers. Logoist 1.0.3 ($20) - Logoist is a tool for creating logos, title art, icons, banners, and more. The software is layer based and includes a collection of built-in presets, clipart, and patterns. Version 1.0.3 includes a new Flame filter, as well as support for recording effects in the layer list. Numerous bugs specific to OS X 10.8 have also been fixed, and overall speed has been improved. OCRKit 1.12 ($50) - OCRKit is an optical character recognition tool capable of extracting text data from graphic files. Support for English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish languages is included. The update includes a new content aware page de-skew feature, as well as improved multi-core performance, PDF compression, stability, and accuracy. [Download - 13.8MB]

MenuTab 5.1 (free) - MenuTab allows users to access their Facebook account directly from the Mac's menubar. The software loads the mobile version of Facebook in a small window, and provides users with visual notifications when new events occur. Version 5.1 adds support for Mountain Lion's Notification Center. A new Retina-optimized menubar icon is also included, along with various minor bug fixes. [Download - 2.2MB]
