HyperDock 1.3 ($10) - HyperDock adds a number of new features to the Mac OS X dock. Users can preview and select windows and tabs by hovering the mouse over a dock time, as well as use shortcuts to quickly open new windows. Version 1.3 adds the option to speed up the Dock's autohide, as well as to hide dock labels. In addition, support has been improved for Mountain Lion, Gatekeeper, and Retina displays. Adium 1.5.3 (free) - Adium is a free instant messaging client that supports popular social apps such as AIM, MSN, and Google Talk. The latest release fixes a problem that caused searches to fail in the transcript viewer, as well as an issue related to iTunes 10.6.3. Things 2.0.1 ($50) - Things is a task management tool that can help users organize all of the chores that they need to finish. The software also features several collaboration features that can be used to delegate tasks to different members of a team. Overall stability has been improved with this update. [Download - 17MB]

SMARTReporter 3.0.4 ($5) - SMARTReporter is designed to warn users of possible hard disk drive failures before they occur. In the latest the release the I/O error check feature has been updated to work on OS X 10.8, and support for native on-screen notifications has been added. A new menubar icon set that better matches the default Apple icons has also been included. [Download - 2.4MB]

DiscEject 1.8 (free) - DiscEject is a small utility that can help users eject discs that get stuck in a Mac's slot loading drive. Version 1.8 has improved DiscEject Advanced and should be able to eject discs in more situations, including from the MacBook Air USB superdrive. In addition, the app is also now compatible with OS X Mountain Lion. [Download - 0.2MB]
