Focus 1.4 ($15) - Focus is a tool that allows users to choose a subject in an image and add lens blur to the background. Version 1.4 introduces an updated interface, as well as a new Custom Focus tool. Overall image render quality has also been improved, and app behavior has been corrected on Mac OS X Lion. CaliBrate 1.8 ($8) - CaliBrate allows users to create and batch process iCal events. Other features include the ability to find and remove duplicates, to move or archive events to new calendars, to add or clear alarms, and more. The latest release has been code signed for Gatekeeper on OS X Mountain Lion and changes all iCal references to Calendars. Simplify 2.0 ($5) - Simplify is a small utility for controlling music playback form Spotify. The latest release adds a remote control feature that allows users to control Spotify, iTunes, or Rdio within a local network. The option to select players to start simplify with has also been added, along with fixes for a Last.fm scrobbling issue and other minor bigs. [Download - 3.5MB]
Dropbox 1.4.11 (free) - Dropbox is a desktop utility that creates a special Finder folder that automatically syncs with an online web storage account. This can be used to backup files to the cloud, or to quickly synchronize files between multiple computers. The update adds support for Dropbox's newly announced storage plans. [Download - 21.5MB]
Arq 2.8.2 ($29) - Arq is a backup utility that will make incremental backups to an online storage account. The software keeps hourly backups for the past 24 hours, daily backups for the past month, and weekly backups for everything older than a month. The v2.8.2 fixes an issue on OS X Lion where the software would continually ask for permission to read the keychain. [Download - 5.5MB]
