MarsEdit 3.5.4 ($40) - MarsEdit is a blog editor that uses an e-mail like interface for editing. The software features spell-checking, drafts, multiple windows, and Apple Script support. The latest update adds support for Lightroom Virtual Copies in the media browser, and improves the word count accuracy in the status bar. Additionally, a new News Check feature that alerts customizer soy critical fixes has been added. [Download - 6.2MB]

Watchmac 1.6.4 ($20) - Watchmac is a security utility that monitors a Mac for any possible security threats. The software records all threats, such as when an incorrect login password is entered, and can even capture a picture using a connected webcam. Full support for OS X Mountain Lion has been added with the v1.6.4 update. [Download - 3MB]

My Living Desktop 5.0.9 ($30) - My Living Desktop provides users with a variety of high definition videos that can be used both as moving wallpapers and screen savers. Version 6.0.9 fixes a problem that caused the desktop movie to pause when the rising sun menu bar icon was hidden. A number of minor modifications have also been made to the Scene Importer. TextSoap 7.3.1 ($30) - TextSoap is a text processing utility that can use find and replace commands to change words and copy formatting throughout a document. The minor update fixes a problem with TextSoap Menu not being added to the LoginItems when the start at launch option is selected, as well as a bug with colors in custom groups not showing properly. DashExpander 1.6.5 ($10) - DashExpander is a snippet abbreviation expander that can cut down on typing time. The software can hold any number of text snippets and allows users to sync their library across multiple computers via Dropbox.In v1.6.5 the software will respect the case of placeholders and switch cases automatically as placeholders are filled. A few memory leaks have also been fixed, and users can now define the @date and @time special placeholder formats. [Download - 3.3MB]
