MacFamilyTree 6.2.3 ($28) - MacFamilyTree 6.2.3 is an upgrade to the family history management app for Mac OS X, which can be used to create reports or diagrams, as well as browse 3D views. The new version delivers several fixes and improvements in the GEDCOM exporter and importer, enhances both date parsing and the Descendant Chart, and improves overall performance of the Tree Chart. Image Bucket 1.6 ($4) - Image Bucket allows users to resize, convert, and transform images and photos easily. In the new 1.6 version of the app, users can add watermarks using existing images, and can control the opacity and alignment. Other user interface improvements include the ability to drag the application window around the screen from the main window, and a new feature that has the app remember if the preview is visible or not between launches. WhatSize 5.2.1 ($13) - Clyde Deda has launched WhatSize 5.2.1, an update the the Mac OS X app that quickly measures the size in bytes of a given folder and all subfolders. Features of the upgrade include a new preference pane that better handles CSV exports, several crash-related bug fixes, and the added support of measuring TimeMachine volumes, which will help identify local TimeMachine snapshots. Email Archiver 2.5.0 ($10) - Email Archiver 2.5.0 provides Mac OS X users with the tools necessary to archive all e-mails as PDFs, and keep them organized. The new 2.5.0 version offers a more streamlined modern look, as well as a the added ability to archive individual e-mails. YouTube to MP3 2.0 (free) - MediaHuman.com has announced a new upgrade to its music conversion software that turns YouTube videos into playable MP3 files. With YouTube to MP3 2.0 a completely redesigned user interface has been introduced, in additional to many bug fixes and overall performance improvements.
