Alarm Clock Pro 9.4.5 ($20) - Alarm Clock Pro is a time management application that can display inspirational quotes randomly throughout the day, send reminders as text messages, as well as send reminders or birthday cards to contacts. The v9.4.5 update allows users to set iTunes fade to a maximum of 9999 seconds, and has fixed an issue with saving screenshot and webcam destinations. Growl integration has also been improved. PreMinder 1.5.5 ($19) - PreMinder is a desktop calendar app that can be synced with iCal, iCloud, and Google calendars. Version 1.5.5 adds several new preference options that allow users to switch off whole calendar scrolling, set the highlighting colors, and turn off blending for selection boxes. [Download - 6.6MB]

MacDropAny 1.8.1 (free) - MacDropAny is a small tool for syncing any folder directly to a Dropbox account. The latest release has fixed a bug that prevented users who hadn't previously installed a third-party right click service from using the right click menu. [Download - 0.59MB]

HoudahGeo 3.0.4 ($30) - HoudahGeo enables users to link photos to the location where they were taken. Photos can be pinned to their respective locations, removing the need for a digital camera with built-in GPS capabilities. With the latest update, HoudahGeo can now retrieve altitude values for geocoded photos. An option to view comments in the list of images has also been added, and an issue with KML/KMZ export for images with no altitude values has been resolved. [Download - 10.9MB]

Bean 3.0.2 (free) - Bean is a basic word processor that offers greater simplicity than larger programs, but more features than basic text editors. The software includes a live word count and an Inspector panel with various formatting options. The v3.0.2 update fixes a problem that prevented text fields from accepting digits after a comma used as a decimal. [Download - 2.5MB]
