FotoMagico 4.4.6 ($100) - FotoMagico is a tool for creating slideshows with personal photos and music in only a few mouse clicks. The software includes a variety of transitions, such as panning, zooming, and scaling. Along with various other small improvements, v4.4.6 fixes problems with the German and French UI localizations. Dropbox 2.8.3 (free) - Dropbox is a desktop utility that creates a special Finder folder that automatically syncs with an online web storage account. This can be used to backup files to the cloud, or to quickly synchronize files between multiple computers. A fix for a problem that prevented Preferences from opening on OS X 10.4 has been resolved with this update. A recurring notification message has also been fixed and the included translations have been updated. [Download - 36MB]

App Tamer 2.0.3 ($15) - App tamer is a utility that can automatically free up the CPU by preventing applications from accessing the processor when they are not active. In v2.0.3 any CPU limitations that processes might cary are now displayed next to the process’ name in App Tamer's window. An issue that could cause the software to incorrectly limit the CPU usage of an application in some situations has also been resolved, along with a rare bug that occasionally resulted in a crash when an OS X service returned an error. Screens 3.1 ($35) - Screens is a screen sharing and VNC client that can be used to connect remotely to any Mac, Windows or Linux computer. Support is included for controlling a computer with gestures, while a scrollable shortcuts toolbar gives quick access to other functions. Version 3.1 introduces Dropbox support, giving users the option to sync any saved screens to either iCloud or Dropbox. The Screens icon can also now be hidden from the dock, and the software will automatically attempt to reconnect when the remote computer closes a connection. [Download - 12MB]

DiskAid 6.7.2 ($30) - DiskAid is a tool for accessing the file system, applications, and data of any iOS device from a desktop. Users can transfer files and folders between their iOS device and computer, as well as read notes, export call history, save voice memos and more. The latest release adds support for iOS 8, has improved Wi-Fi connection stability, and will now include apps in iOS backups. In addition, users can now install, uninstall. or export apps with or without associated app data. [Download - 54MB]
